    While carrying out normal production and business activities, constantly driving the nation’s economic development and social progress, ZRICI also actively takes part in all kinds of activities for the public good, donating to support education, helping the distressed and succoring those in peril to fulfill CSR. In 2007, a catastrophic earthquake disaster happened in Wenchuan, Sichuan, China. After the disaster, while maintaining normal production and stable operation, our company actively fulfilled its CSR and aided the disaster area in various forms. Moreover, for years our company has actively responded to the calls from related departments of Zhejiang and Hangzhou, taken part in many activities for the public good, such as “Warmth for the Poor”, “Spring Breeze Action”, “Love for Angels in White”, “Clean Hangzhou Action for the Public Good” and “Care for the Common People’s Health”, etc. We have actively donated money and materials to support the city’s construction and social development. ZRICI has been paired with the Central Primary School of Longxi Town, Qingyuan County, Zhejiang, and the Central Primary School of Xiashan Town, Kaihua County, Zhejiang. Our Taicang Chemical Park took in the “Party and League Offer Love, True Care Warms Students’ Hearts” pairing education support activity organized by Taicang Education Bureau and Taicang Youth League Committee of Jiangsu Province, to fund poor students and help poor children finish school.

    The Independent Innovation

    CFCs is a main ODS. Depending on our own scientific research strength, our company has successfully developed HFC -134a and other globally advanced production technologies for environment-friendly substitutes. Our products are supplied to domestic and overseas automobile, air conditioner and refrigerator manufacturers. So far, our company has independently developed ODS substitutes as well as the production technologies, made more than 30 research achievements, applied for 33 national patents for inventions and 3 PCT patents. At present, all our product technologies are developed from our own research results. We are making due efforts to the protection of the ozone layer. ZRICI is a support organization for the National South Agrochemical Creation Center’s Zhejiang Base. Focusing on developing organic fluorine agrochemicals, heterocyclic agrochemicals, low-toxicity efficient agrochemicals, we have successively developed and produced fluorine-containing agrochemicals like trifluralin, fomesafen, flumetralin and new products like pyridaben, pretilachlor, carbosulfan, propargite, etc. So far, the Zhejiang Base has developed 3 efficient low-toxicity agrochemicals with proprietary intellectual property rights. The efficient low-toxicity fungicide “ZJ0712” is a new strobilurin fungicide that can kill a wide spectrum of fungi and has high fungicidal activity. It can protect and cure plants, has good effects in preventing powdery mildew, downy mildew and anthracnose.

In terms of safety in production, our company sticks to the “safety first, prevention foremost, comprehensive treatment” principle, striving to build a long-term mechanism for safety in production. Since the joining of Sinochem Group in 2008, our company has introduced Sinochem Group’s safety control system, created intrinsic safety and increased investment in safety, striving to eliminate hidden safety risks and ensure the company’s sustainable, healthy and stable operation.
